After Hard Kaur's last performance when she fell from the ranks, she tried to step her game up a bit, but it wasn't enough for the judges to return her to the top of the leader board. The good thing is that she is safe for next week.
On the dance floor she had jaws dropping with her soft romantic number with choreographer Savio. Since it was the week of using props in a dance, the prop Hard Kaur and Savio used was a ladder to help in this romantic track from the Aamir Khan film "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar." After the performance, most of the judges complimented on mostly the dance, but they also commented that Hard Kaur needed to use the prop a little more. Vaibhavi Merchant nicknamed her "Soft Kaur" for her soft performance while Juhi Chawla termed it beautiful. Hard Kaur promptly turned around and asked her mother in the audience: "Now do you think I will get married?" Saroj found it soft and sweet.
Well, the judges all gave her a 26 in total, which was a bit better than last week. The only one whose performance was well praised was football star Baichung and actress Monica Bedi who both received 30.
Hard Kaur is a bundle of surprises. She likes to talk brash, dance hard, and is a self proclaimed "girl without inhibitions". But this time one got to see Hard Kaur in another light. You not only see her being fair to all her contestants, taking up cudgels on their behalf and having fun. This week we saw her bring clothes and accessories for former Indian cricketer Mohinder Amarnath for his Hip Hop act. Who better than Hard Kaur to know what goes best with Hip Hop? Unfortunately, Mohinder was eliminated this week.
