London based group Swami is amped to take on the stage at the 2009 Mosaic Festival in Mississauga, Canada tomorrow. Headlining at 9 PM Saturday on the outdoor stage, the internationally renowned group will turn the heat up and keep the crowd roaring.
Swami's sound is an eclectic combination of pop, British-Indian Bhangra, and off-beat club electro. They create a multi dimensional sound with three vocalists, a DJ with guitar, keys, and decks, and a dhol. It's both traditional and futuristic, an element that has propelled them to a global status.
Currently signed with EMI/Virgin records, Swami's Electro Jugni/She's Mine EP has already released. We at Desi Hits! brought you the world exclusive premiere of 'Sugarless,'to download, on June 12th. If you haven't yet, check out "Sugarless" below.
