While Akshay Kumar has clearly said he doesn't want to be the king of Bollywood, and rather he prefers being in the race, but after the success of his latest movie, 'Kambakkht Ishq' at the box office, he just might have to settle for the first title! After the massive success of 'Singh is Kinng' Akshay Kumar and director Anees Bazmee are teaming up again! The film is tentatively titled 'Thank You' and will be produced by the popular UTV Motion Pictures.
They're sticking with the comedy genre as this one will be a comic caper and it's being said that it will bring tons of laughs and smiles. Plus with their last film raking in so much dough, they're banking on this one doing the same.
However, it will be some time as it isn't even set to go on the floors until early 2010. Plus we hear that 'Thank You' will also star Neil Nitin Mukesh and will be the first time Akshay and Neil will be working together. Also until now Neil has only done serious roles and it should be pretty interesting to see him doing comedy. The leading ladies opposite the men have yet to be finalized. We just might see one of Akki's favorite leading ladies, Katrina Kaif in the film as well.
