It seems that not a day goes by recently where we don’t see more and more Bollywood influence all over the world. In New York City, Bollywood is literally popping up all over the place! Yesterday, natives and tourists alike were surprised by flash dance mobs that happened throughout the city in support of the new IFC 3 part mini-series entitled “Bollywood Hero”. The B-town dancers traveled by bus to various locations in NYC to stop and perform a Bollywood routine. There were even surprise dancers hidden in the surrounding crowd who joined in! At the Times Square performance, actress Neha Dhupia joined the spectators with her co-stars Chris Kattan (from American sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live) and American actress, Pooja Kumar. “Bollywood Hero” stars Chris Kattan who plays a version of himself: a down-on-his luck Hollywood actor who heads to Bollywood for a new role. For those of you in the US who want to check out this 3 part mini-series you can catch it on the IFC Network tonight 10pm EST.
