Here is good news for those who like the Slimmer version of Namitha and bad news for those who adore Namitha’s heavy duty body. Sizzling Siren Namitha who has become the Sex Diva of South Indian Film Industry has trim down her weight by 9 Kgs for her forthcoming film.
Namitha is going to portray a police officer role in Telugu film ‘Deshdrohi’ to be produced by GVH Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Cine Chitra. The film will have a young Hero and KS Nageswara Rao is going to direct the movie. In fact, they prepared the story three years ago keeping in mind Vijayashanthi as the heroine. As Vijayashanthi is in active politics and contesting for Lok Sabha, they searched for an alternative heroine and found Namitha as the suitable heroine as the subject is evergreen. As the character is of a police officer, Namitha has strived hard and reduced some 9 Kgs. by now and she has promised the production team to shed 3 more Kgs. by the time they launch shooting. The director planned to launch the shooting in the third or fourth week of April and they are planning to shoot the film in Delhi, Rajasthan, Chennai and Ramoji Film City. When asked about her character in the film Namitha says, “I love doing action characters. I am taking special coaching in martial arts and I am happy to do risky fights if the producer permits me to do so. Vijayashanti is my role model for these kinds of roles and I be happy if I could do even 10 per cent of what she has done on the screen.”
Meanwhile, those who have ogled the slimmer version of Namitha in the Stills of ‘Deshdrohi’ are in awe of her new beauty and say that she looks much better like this than before in ‘Engal Anna’ and ‘Aei’. Some naughty fellows say that those who are going to fight with Namitha in the film are the one really very lucky. The real feedback of the audience will be known once Namitha hits the screen in a rather slender version.
