Urban Desi artist, Parichay's video for "Deewana Tera (She Makes Me Crazy)" was released this weekend and it is hot! From the sexy dancers to the slick bars, this video looks great. The Hindi and English lyrics are matched with Middle Eastern beats truly making this track and video unique. We caught up with Parichay to get the buzz on his new video and recently released album 'No Boundaries'.
Parichay has worked hard on this album and has learned a lot through this experience. Reflecting on his journey, Parichay speaks of the influence Sonu Niigaam has had on him. "He is someone I look up to, and he is like my idol. Knowing him personally, I have gotten great advice [from him]." Apart from Parichay's singing, he is also a producer influenced by Timbaland and The Neptunes. Parichay is devoted to the music scene and is working to bring Urban Desi music into the mainstream. He is trying to create a sound; "not just a hook with Jay-Z [Mundian To Bach Ke], but something more."
Parichay's ambitions and dedication to music reaching new heights have led Times Music to recognize Parichay's talent and release his album 'No Boundaries'. His album and unique style have caused a stir bringing much anticipation to the release of his video for "Deewana Tera (She Makes Me Crazy)."
The track "Deewana Tera (She Makes Me Crazy" is Parichay's own production and features former collaborators Blitzkrieg and Roach Killa, which makes this the third track, after their remix of "Jai Ho" and "Jadoo Spell on Me," that these three artists have worked on together. Collaborations like these define what Urban Desi is. Parichay, himself, brings the Bollywood vibe, Blitzkrieg brings the rap, and Roach Killa adds the reggaeton. What more does a song need? Blitzkrieg remarks, "This track is off the hook and is sure to get the dance floors jumpin worldwide. Every time me, Roach, and Chay get togetha we always make a hype tune. We actually put this togetha and recorded it within an hr I think. Vid was shot in tdot and a lot of people came out to support. Hope you enjoy listening to the track as much as we enjoyed recording it."
Parichay says, "I am not trying to be someone else, I am me." He is proud to be Desi and wants his music to be enjoyed by all, no matter what language you speak or where you're from, "Dream it! Believe it! Live it! and don't let nothing or nobody ever stop you!... There ain't no boundaries in nothin!!"
