And the countdown begins! There's just 7 days to go before 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' hits theaters in the US. The film premiered in London last night and has caused quite the buzz as fans anxiously order tickets in advance.
The last time we heard from Harry was back in his fifth year at Hogwarts when 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' was released in 2007. Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry promises to be very exciting as new romances spark up and the battle against the Dark Lord Voldemort continues.
This long-awaited film corresponds to the sixth book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and with only one more year left after this film, Harry Potter fans will not be disappointed in the presentation of this film.
We also get to meet some new characters this year, including, Professor Slughorn and Ron's new girlfriend, Lavender Brown. That's right! Ron has a girlfriend! Harry's heart also begins to go out to someone who he thought was 'just a friend.' Will these new romances break the trio of Ron, Hermione, and Harry up? You'll just have to watch the film to find out!
This year at Hogwarts is filled with much action and suspense as Harry moves closer to defeating the Dark Lord and learns the identity of who the half-blood prince is. We also get to see a lot of flying in the exciting Quidditch matches and watch as the students learn how to magically apparate from place to place. There is also a surprise scene that was not even featured in J.K. Rowling's book!
