Playback singer Manjari married Vivek Prasad (April 11) at Subrahmaniam hall in Thiruvananthapuram. Vivek Prasad, a fighter pilot in the Indian Navy.

Manjari won the Kerala State Award for the best singer for her song 'Mukulin Makale..' in the film Makalku and has sung for almost all the eminent music directors in various South Indian languages. She came into limelight with the songs she sung for Ravindran master's 'Vadakkum Nathan' (Paahi param porule).Her other super hit songs includes 'Oru chiri Kandal athu mathi' and the song `Attinkarayorath.. In 2004, she was casually invited by Malayalam lyricist Gireesh Puthenchery to appear for an audition for Ilayaraja, who was at that time working on a Malayalam film. Manjari was really excited and went on to complete five songs in two days. Manjari, who has already notched up a reputation as an Ilayaraja favourite, loves to sing both Hindustani and Carnatic as she believes there is divinity in both streams of music.
