Recently Microsoft has signed off the RTM (Released to Manufacturing) build of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 with tag numbers. Internal informations says that this build of Windows 7 RTM is compiled on July 10, 2009, at 19:45 PM. This is being said that Windows 7 RTM will be build 7600 with version number of 6.1.7600.16384 and full build string of 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945, if it’s truly the final gold RTM code for Windows 7.

Leaked information and ISO images of Windows 7 RTM Build 7600 are from Chinese sites. They have posted Windows 7 RTM Build 7600 screenshots with official Windows 7 RTM wallpapers.

According to WZor, the choice for final RTM build for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 is between the following candidates before the build jumps to 7600:
