Latest Endorsements from the Big B and Salman Khan

Some of Bollywood's royalty will be making an extra rupee or two on the side. Salman Khan and
Amitabh Bachchan are working on separate commercials' set to air soon. For Amitabh, he is working with
director Sujoy Ghosh on an ad for Himani Navratna Oil. The ad will use Amitabh's booming voice where
he will be doing a dance and singing a little jingle for the hair product. Reports say that Amitabh was in
the studio for long hours, working with composers for perfect a jingle. This is the first time that Bachchan
will be giving his singing voice to a commercial. An interesting part of this is that Sujoy Ghosh and
Amitabh Bachan are working on another project, no, not another commercial. The highly anticipated
film "Aladin" where Big-B himself will be playing the genie.

While Amitabh Bachchan is a highly sought after marketing tool, Salman Khan has been known as a pain
to work with and overly choosy which is why he hasn't really been seen endorsing too many things.
However Khan is getting a chance with a mint breath freshener advertisement. Salman Khan will rake
in 4 crore a year for the endorsement. Creative director Prasoon Joshi is excited about picking up
Salman Khan, 'The best thing about Salman is that his image is a brand fit for the product. Salman is
spontaneous, fun, cool and irreverent and that's what our brand fit is too.'

Salman's ad is still being filmed. The actor has been pretty busy, he has been promoting Sony's "Dus Ka
Dum," he has been filming his latest film "Veer," and he is on the campaign trail for Manmohan Singh."
So what do you think about the latest endorsements from two of Bollywood's finest? Think Amitabh
Bachchan should be selling hair products and Salman Khan breath mints? Or do you think they should be
selling something else, leave us a comment and let us know what you think about their latest
endorsements!
