When your father is one of the most well-known actors in Bollywood, it seems only natural that you would want to enter Bollywood. Thus is the case with Anil Kapoor's daughters. First there's of course Sonam Kapoor who made her debut with 'Saawariya' and then moved onto 'Dehli 6.' Well now Kapoor's oldest daughter, Rhea Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut as well!
Except for one thing - she's not actually going to be on screen! Instead Rhea is going to be the producer for an upcoming film titled, 'Ayesha' which will star her sister Sonam in the lead role. The movie is based on Jane Austen's prolific novel; 'Emma' and Sonam will play a young, independent, Desi version of Emma who likes to be a matchmaker for other.
All right so Rhea Kapoor isn't the 'real' producer. It's being said that Rhea is just going to act as the official producer, while the movie will actually be produced by the girls' father Anil. Rumor has it that Anil wasn't too happy about the kinds of scripts Sonam was being offered, thus he decided to make a movie himself!
Rhea is actually an alumni of Dhirubhai Ambani International School and is also an assistant to director Ayaan Mukherji (who is also Kajol's cousin, oh the nepotism of Bollywood!) for Karan Johar's film, 'Wake Up Sid.'
Rhea herself is also a pretty, tall girl whose looks are actually quite similar to Sonam's. Plus if you recall, Sonam also started her career as an assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Hmm... do we smell an acting debut for Rhea in the near future?
Both Sonam and Rhea are said to be heading to Los Angeles for costume sessions with Mona May for the film's wardrobe. The two sisters are said to get along and have often been spotted partying together (if you recall the pictures stirred up a bit of a controversy!). So what do you think about Rhea Kapoor turning producer? Drop us a comment with your thoughts!
