Kajol Serves Sweets to Rani Mukherji at Durga Puja

Bongs all over the world celebrated Durga Puja this weekend and the festivities did not exclude Bollywood's best Bengalis. From Rani Mukherji to Abhishek Bachchan, who is half Bengali, actors partook in the rituals to worship goddess Durga, destroyer of all evil. Celebrating the strength of the female goddess who battled a demon, Rani Mukerherji, Kajol and other stars went to temples in Mumbai to say mantras and pray.

All these celebs put their glamour to the side and wore traditional outfits as they participated in the festival that is celebrated for nine days. All of the stars were surrounded by their families as this is a holiday that is spent with your dearest. While all states in India observe Durga Puja differently, Bengal is known for its special festivities. And although these stars are not in Bengal, they made sure to bring the traditions to Mumbai.

Rani and Kajol were at the same event in Santa Cruz, Mumbai and Kajol even served all the guests including Rani sweets! Check out these pictures of celebs attending the temple ceremonies and Happy Dashera to those who observe the holiday!
