Film Review: 'All the Best'

The Story:
"All the Best" is a movie about mistaken identities. Veer is in love with Vidya, played by Mugdha Godse. Prem, played by Ajay Devgan, is happily married to Jhanvi (Bipasha Basu). Veer and Prem find themselves in huge debts after trying to earn easy money. When Dharam pays them a visit, things get more complicated and funny situations occur as Prem's wife, Jhanvi, is mistaken for Veer’s wife, and Veer's girlfriend, Vidya, is mistaken for Prem’s girlfriend.

The Cast:
Ajay Devgan as Prem
Bipasha Basu as Jhanvi
Fardeen Khan as Veer
Mugdha Godse as Vidya
Sanjay Dutt as Dharam

The Crew:
Director: Rohit Shetty
Producer: Ajay Devgan
Screenplay: Robin Bhatt
Music Director: Pritam Chakraborty

What Worked:
Director Rohit Shetty set out to make audiences laugh and he succeeded, that’s all that matters. You will smile, laugh, chuckle and giggle! With the right writing, it’s also important to get the right cast and Rohit Shetty really did a good job at finding the perfect actors for this laugh out loud comedy. Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu work wonders together. They are a perfect blend of humor and beauty.

What Didn't Work:

Sometimes we stretch the facial the muscles a bit too hard, the jokes get silly.

The Soundtrack
The Soundtrack: The musical score of "All The Best" will make a direct impression and is guaranteed to entertain the audience as the videos appear on the screen. And Pritam composed songs like "All The Best" and "You Are My Love" with this in mind. But there is a pleasant surprise in store. "Hain Main..." and "Kyon" turned out to be two of the finest compositions by Pritam and they bring in extra value to this album.

Slated or Rated:
"All the Best" is a laugh out loud comedy with perfect comic timing. Make your Diwali weekend a laugh riot, go see "All the Best!"
