Amrita Arora and fiancée Shakeel Ladhak were very hush-hush about their wedding plans, but there's no denying it now since their sangeet ceremony in Bandra. The beautiful Amrita Arora's look stunning in her dress that was designed by Rick Roy.
The party was an intimate family affair, and of course the sexy couple Malaika Arora Khan and her husband Arbaaz Khan were in attendance as Amrita is Malaika's baby sister.
The sangeet ceremony kicked off the festivities and left some of Amrita Arora's family a little teary eyed.
"The little girl who was with me is moving out, but I am happy for her," said Amrita Arora's mother Joyce, but she still seemed confident about the six month long relationship as she added "They have a lot in common".
Everyone seemed to be enjoying the beautiful event and Amrita and her family were dressed to impress. Amrita's outfit and her family's stunning attire became the talk of the town leaving people to wonder what's to come for outfits that the family will wear in the upcoming festivities. So whose designing the outfits?
Ashley Rebello told sources "I have designed Amrita's wedding gown, [in addition to] Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor, Mallika Bhat, Arpita Khan, Alvira Agnihotri's daughters, and Wardha Nadiadwala's outfits as well as Salman Khan's suit for the church wedding.
All the outfits took a month for me to design and were created with several inputs from Amrita. She was very clear about what she wanted simple, stylish, and elegant. Amrita didn't want anything over the top. I am also designing Amu's nikaah and mehendi outfits. We did a lot of research and took many pictures from the internet before we finalized the designs." It seems the wedding preparations are all in place and everyone is excited about the date as it is now only days away.
It will be interesting to see who comes to the wedding and what the final designs for the clothing look like.
