Country Club of India's Rang Barse Celebration

March 12 2009 19:20 PST

Everyone was celebrating Holi on Wednesday and we've been catching you up on all the parties you might have missed. The Country Club of India also celebrated Holi at its clubs across the country. The Country Club of India managed to create cheer and vibrancy in the air. They made some pretty elaborate arrangements with its show Rang Barse-including celebrities, DJ Music and of course colorful hues of gulal. The setting for the Holi celebration was nothing short of beautiful.

The film stars who joined in the fun at Country Club's Spring Club in Kandivali Mumbai included Koena Mitra, Geeta Basra, Anjana Sukhani and Nauheed Cyrusi. Most Holi celebrations are a color fest that leave everyone covered with gulal. But most of these Bollywood babes at this bash seemed to be struggling to keep the color off of their white outfits.

Mr. Rajeev Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director at the Country Club of India spoke on the Holi celebrations saying" the Country Club has always valued the multi layered diversity of Indian culture reflecting in its festivals in resplendent colors. Our members consist of varied communities so one will find us celebrating [everything] from Lori to Holi, Christmas to Id symbolizing oneness and cultural integration. Across the country, in its clubs spread all over, Country Club of India celebrated Holi with enthusiasm and gusto adding colors to the lives of its esteemed members."

Well we know many of you had your own Holi celebrations in progress, that's why we have some pictures from the ones that took place at the Country Club of India. Check out the pictures and let us know what you think about the actresses. Do you think the celebrations at the Country Club of India were more subdued than those taking place elsewhere?
