Ayesha Takia finally got hitched. One of the most talked about Bollywood weddings of the year happened last night in Colaba, Mumbai! Sources say that the lovely actress and her husband, hotelier, Farhan Azmi, had a small Nikkah (Islamic wedding ceremony) with their dearest family and friends. It was an intimate affair with a small guest list of 200 hundred people. The ceremony was held in Ayesha's husband, Farhan Azmi's restaurant. The guest list to the reception however was much larger.
Approximately 5000 guests were invited to the reception. Abhishek Bachchan and his mother Jaya Bachchan were two of the many Bollywood celebs that attended. Ayesha Takia looked absolutely gorgeous in her gold net, Sharara as she walked into the CCI Stadium in Churchgate, the venue for the celebration. Ayeshia smiled at her guest and the paparazzi as she walked in with her husband, Farhan.
Many say this may be the end of the starlets career, however the happiness shown on Ayesha's face demonstrates that this is what the actress truly wants. We guess that sometimes it worth the sacrifice for the person you love. Who knows though, it's a new generation and Bollywood actresses like Aishwarya Rai are flourishing in their careers after marriage, so hopefully the same will happen for Ayesha! We wish Ayesha and her husband a happy wedded life!
