In case you're wondering why Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film 'Chenab Gandhi' is being delayed, you can blame it all on Bollywood actor John Abraham. We know John Abraham is a busy guy, so we can let it go this time around. Originally the chosen stud for the movie was Harman S. Baweja, but we're sure that his reputation preceded him. Harman S. Baweja has not only had some relationship issues with Priyanka Chopra, but his last two films haven't done so well either. So it's no surprise that the change was made. Harman S. Baweja is reportedly not too happy with the decision, but hopefully he'll get over it soon.
Sources say that "The film's first schedule has now been postponed from April 2009 to December 2009. Just around the end of February, after Harman S. Baweja was replaced by John Abraham, all the shooting dates had to be reworked and rescheduled for the end of this year, as John is presently a very busy star and is already committed for shooting two other films on his hand."
'Chenab Gandhi' is a film about the famous freedom fighter Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan who will be played by Amitabh Bachchan as the lead. The film is directed by Vibhu Puri and stars Vidya Balan and John Abraham. It's obvious that a heavyweight like Amitabh Bachchan had to be accompanied by a co-star like John Abraham and not a less popular actor like say...Harman S. Baweja?
