Oh, it was truly a hot affair! We loved it! The uber-chic, Deepika Padukone, strolled into the FHM magazine bash wearing a fashionable pinkish-purple dress with a bit of blue in it! Deepika Padukone was one of the many celebs that attended this grand event that was held for FHM India's partnership with Manzoni to launch their A-List Style Icons for 2009.
The red carpet event took place at the posh Taj Lands End in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The night was hosted by the famous filmmaker Farah Khan. The crowd was treated to a fashion show by the renowned designer Vikram Phadnis.
Being that FHM is a major lifestyle magazine for men, the celebration drew the country's most stylish men from every field, including film, business, music, politics, television, and sports. They all gathered with some lovely ladies to take part in the exclusive party. So there was some serious eye candy in the room! The occasion captured the true essence of high fashion for both the men and the women, as the famous attendees wore the latest trends and looked their absolute sexiest.
A few other celebrities that showed up dressed in their best included Mehr Jessia Rampal, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Amrita Rao, Amrita Arora, Diya Mirza, and Arjun Rampal. Malaika Arora Khan came with her husband Arbaaz Khan and Akshay Kumar came with his sexy wife Twinkle Khanna. Winners of the night included Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jessia Rampal for most stylish couple and Akshay Kumar received the most stylish actor award.
Desi Hits! got pictures of some of the winners and the fashionistas that were in attendance. Some of the styles were absolute must-haves for any smoking hot wardrobe, while others left us scratching our heads. We want you to check out the pictures that we got from the event.
